The Fireman's Ball is just around the corner! Thanks to all of you who attended and contributed to last year's dance. For those of you new to the area, the Fireman's Ball is an all town fun event for the whole family and is the main fundraiser for our all volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad.
Gordy's famous ribs, brats and beer will be served starting at 5:30 pm. Big Walter Smith and Groove Merchants are playing from 7 pm to 11 pm. Fun games for the kids activities, food, and "warm-up" activities prior to 7 pm.
A suggested donation is $8.00 per ticket (children 12 and under free). Additional donations are always welcome and greatly appreciated. You may also want to purchase the Firemen's Ball Poster for a $10.
The funds raised this year will go towards the LUCAS chest compression system, at a cost of $15,000.00. This device assists first responders and paramedics with providing effective chest compressions on sudden cardiac arrest patients. Just think, you or a loved one may need this one day.
This is a great opportunity to have a good time with family and friends while supporting your local Public Safety Department.
